Breakwater pricing is all-inclusive, covering the boat, dockage, insurance, maintenance, repairs, and weekly cleaning all for a 1-year lease fee. All fuel consumed is paid for by the member.
Breakwater Boats program provides members of its lease shared-boat program private use of an awe-inspiring, Pro-Line 25 Walk based in Coconut Grove, Florida. Members enter into a 1-year lease on one of the boats in the Breakwater fleet. For the all-inclusive price of $399 per month, each member has exclusive use of his or her boat for 36-days guaranteed per year. Each skipper is free to schedule their 36 guaranteed days that offers 24-hour usage for each scheduled day. The number of members per vessel is limited to 10 members per boat, and guarantee’s each member their 36-day use. In addition to the members guaranteed scheduled time, they may also claim additional 24-hour usage free of charge by scheduling online within a 24-hour or less notice when the boat is not being used.
A refundable security deposit of $1,000 is collected based on the type boat and size. Tax is also collected at 7% on the lease fee. A one-time initiation fee of $250 is charged for orientation, sea trial and setup in the program. Members will not own a partial title to each vessel, they are paying for lease time.
